We can customize aviation sensors as per customer requirements and ensure that it meets qualification standards. Our transducers can be used in engine mounting arrangements or in oil, air conditioning or other measurement applications. We can customize the transducer as per the application – the following types of transducers are offered by us:
1. Thermocouple: Type K thermocouple per ITS-90 specifications. Submerged and exposed junction options offered. Single or dual thermocouples enclosed within a single sensor can be offered. The wires are either mineral insulated or held in place by high alumina multi bore tubes for highly reliable performance. Sheathing materials offered are Stainless Steel 316L, Inconel 600, Hastelloy X, XH60BT or as per specification.
Temperature range: -50°C to 1200°C
Accuracy: Class 1 thermocouple standards as per IEC 60584-2:1982 / BS EN 60584-2:1993
2. Radiation: We can work to replace existing temperature sensors with non contact radiation temperature sensors. Our proprietary multi-color pyrometry algorithm for measuring the temperature reduced emissivity effects and delivers a more reliable, robust measurement. These sensors can be housed in less harsh environments thus improving reliability and performance.
Temperature measured: 600°C to 1500°C
Operating temperatures: 150°C
Accuracy: Equivalent to class 1 type K thermocouple standards as per IEC 60584-2:1982 / BS EN 60584-2:1993
3. RTD: Pt50/Pt100/Pt500/Pt1000 can be offered based on requirement. 2/3/4 wire systems with single or multiple transducers in each sensor can be offered. The transducers are held in place by high alumina multi bore tubes to ensure performance. Sheathing materials offered are Stainless Steel 316L, Inconel 600, Hastelloy X, XH60BT or as per specification.
Temperature measured: Upto 300°C
Accuracy: Class A accuracy as per IEC 60751:2008 / BS EN 60751:2008
4. Other Types: We can also work with customers on specific requirements for thermistor based or transistor based temperature sensors.
